Eleaf iStick Pico Mega Kit Review

The Eleaf iStick Pico Mega Kit is an upgraded version of the original iStick Pico which made waves in the market after its release last year. The iStick Pico Mega is just a little larger than its predecessor. It comes with some similar features as the iStick Pico as well as some notable improvements like temperature control functionality.

The Eleaf iStick Pico Mega mod is recommended to be used with the Melo III and Melo III Mini atomizer. However, you can fit virtually any atomizer with a diameter of 23mm or less on this mod. If you use a 510 heat sink, you can fit a much larger atomizer on this mod. You can get the iStick Pico Mega and the Melo III tank on Ejuice Deals for only $50. It comes in different colors including hot pink, black, grey, silver, and white.

The dimensions of the iStick Pico Mega are 53.5mm by 31.5mm by 73.5mm. This mod fits in a grip nicely. One of the highlights of this mod is that it can be used with an 18650 battery or a 26650 battery. The performance of the mod with both batteries are virtually the same. The main difference between the two batteries is that the 26650 battery lasts longer than the 18650. The battery compartment can be accessed by unscrewing a top cap adjacent to the 510 connector pin. This mod has a wattage output range of 1W to 80W. However, there has been a new firmware update that allows has raised the mod’s maximum wattage output to 100W. You can download this update on the Eleaf website.

The fire button is on the side of the mod above the small OLED screen. You will find the two buttons for changing the settings of the vape kit underneath the mod. The USB port for charging and upgrading the firmware of the mod is also located under it as well as some ventilation holes to keep the battery from overheating.

The eleaf Stick Pico Mega can be used in four different modes; smart mode, Bypass mode, temperature control mode, and normal wattage mode. The device has a resistance range of 0.05 ohms to 1.5 ohms in temperature control mode. In all the other modes, the resistance range of the mod is 0.1 ohm to 3.5 ohms. The device has a temperature range of 200 to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. You can use nickel, titanium, and stainless steel heating elements in temperature control mode.

What’s more, you can create your own startup logo and upload it to the Eleaf Pico Mega. You can use any app to create the logo, but it must be in BMP format and needs to be sized at 96 x 16.

Melo III

The Melo III sub-ohm tank is made of stainless steel with a diameter of 22mm and a height of 65mm. The tank can hold up to 4ml of e-juice. The package includes three coil heads. First, there is the EC NotchCoil 0.25 ohm coil, which performs well at a high wattage. There is also an EC 0.3 ohms coil head and a 0.5 ohms coil head in the box. All three coils are made of stainless steel.

The Melo III tank has a top fill design. To fill the tank, you need to take off the top cap to access the side fill holes of the tank. You can remove the wide bore drip tip from the top cap of this tank and use any standard 510 drip tip. There are hidden airflow slots at the bottom of the tank.
